At Robocognito, our motto is VR for good. We make custom experiences and games in virtual reality used for education, outreach and training. These applications could be for schools or post-secondary education, nonprofits, apprenticeship programs, organizations providing continuing education or improved customer service. How can we help you?
Robocognito has developed several real-world interfaces using industry standard tools to create dynamic VR training simulations. The bucket controls and hotstick tracked tools allow trainees to build motor-muscle memory while training in dynamic, realistic environments. All without the life-threatening risk associated with making a mistake, or burning any diesel.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ National Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, electrical power-line work, which include journeymen linemen, is among the top 10 deadliest professions in the United States. An accident that happens as a high voltage journeyman lineman is life threatening and severe. Training is paramount to ensuring worker safety. Simulation in virtual reality can help.
Robocognito submitted a proposal for HTC’s VR for Impact project, and we are excited to have been invited to provide more information for second-round consideration!
